Music licensing
The short version: broadcasters are licensed for what they broadcast, we are licensed for the sounds we ship, and a recording you make is yours to clear.
The radio
Every station in the directory is a publicly published internet broadcast, streaming from the broadcaster's own servers to your browser. The broadcaster holds the licences for what it plays, in the territories it plays to. We neither host nor re-transmit any of it.
If you are a broadcaster and you want your station removed from the directory, write to us and it will be removed.
The maker and the pads
The sounds built into the Tunegether maker and PADS are ours to give you, and anything you make with them is yours outright — commercial use included, with no attribution required and no royalty.
Your own files on the decks
Files you load into the decks stay in your browser; they are never uploaded. If you record a mix containing music you do not own, that recording needs clearing before you publish it — the same as it would from any other mixer.
